Desert Merzouga and Gorges

From Marrakech

After crossing the Tizi n’Ticka and its southern Morocco characteristics valleys, the road escapes northwards between fragrant valleys and gorges where wadis sneaking along beautiful oasis. Merzouga arises in the heart of Tafilalet at the foot of the big dune of Erg Chebbi , starting point for camel treks nights bivouac in the sand to the rhythm of nomadic music.

A must for lovers of sites of incredible size with sunrises and sunsets can only leave a lasting impression as the bleached sky of stars. Further, the pre-Saharan oases and the Draa Valley gently lead us to the heart of the Berber villages among arid landscapes, palm or Kasbah, a stunning contrast of colors emblematic of South Morocco
